Principal's Message
I am humbled and honored to introduce myself as Principal of Woodward Mill Elementary School. I can assure you that I share our school community’s dedication to caring for each and every student while providing them with a meaningful learning environment. I believe this will be an amazing journey as I am dedicated to continuing the tradition of “Expecting Excellence in Everything” associated with Woodward Mill Elementary School and the Mountain View Cluster.

The 2024-2025 school year will mark my 27th year in education. I have previously taught at the elementary and collegiate levels as well as served as an Assistant Principal at the elementary and middle school levels. Serving at Woodward Mill feels like home! Elementary is my passion.
Although I am an educator, I am also a mom. My husband and I have two daughters: both are products of Gwinnett County Public Schools and are now in college. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and learning new things. I am also a dog mom.

I firmly believe that every child can exceed and that the cooperation between home and school builds trust and self-esteem in students while meeting their social, emotional, and instructional needs. Most of all, I want to relay that I am committed to building lasting and collaborative relationships with our students, parents, and school community. I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s education and I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and your children.
To our students, I hope that you are excited about this coming school year. It will be a meaningful and fun year, and we will be learning together to achieve the highest accomplishments.

To conclude, I sincerely welcome your input, conversation, and engagement in our school community. We will have opportunities such as Town Hall meetings and Coffee with the Principal for your voices to be heard. Let us keep our students the primary focus of our work. I can’t wait to celebrate our collective successes during the 2024-2025 school year.
