PBIS

What is PBIS?

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based tier framework supporting students' behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health. It creates an environment where everyone thrives.

What does PBIS look like at Woodward Mill?

PBIS supports our school with the implementation of positive behavior practices. Our goal is to partner with students and families to build a positive learning environment.

We explicitly teach, model, and reward three core daily expectations: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe.

How are students acknowledged for positive behavior?

Students are expected to earn at least three Paw Points daily with the opportunity to earn more from any staff member in the building using the PBIS Rewards app. Students also receive brag tags for participating in various activities, attendance, and honor roll just to name a few.
